CassaOK may collect identification and contact data, including first name, surname, e-mail and telephone number, as well as data entered for the comparison: year of birth, postal code, insurer, model, deductible, accident coverage, premiums and number of people. During browsing, technical data such as IP address, browser, device, pages visited and interactions may be processed.
Data is processed to carry out the comparison, generate and send the report, manage requests and leads, ensure security and prevent abuse, improve the service and comply with legal obligations. If the user chooses to obtain insurance advice, personal data of particular protection may also be processed, such as: Data on family composition and marital status; Data relating to other insurance, in particular social insurance. In such case, the data subject must provide explicit consent to the processing of such personal data.
Data comes directly from the data subject, who communicates (directly or via a device) most of the data subject to processing. Occasionally, data may also come from third parties, solely in the case where such data are public or the data subject has authorised the third parties to transmit them to the data controller (e.g. partners, credit information agencies, address dealers, Internet analysis services, etc.).
For the operation of the service and in relation to the purposes indicated in point 3, personal data may be transferred to data processors, who will guarantee the same degree of protection offered by the controller. If data were to be transferred abroad, the controller guarantees that the processors operate in a country that guarantees adequate protection of personal data in accordance with the FADP or that contractual clauses have been entered into between the controller and the processor to guarantee a sufficient level of data protection.
Data is retained for the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, for legal obligations and to protect the controller's rights.
The data subject has the right to access the personal data processed by them. In particular, it is possible to request information on the processing of personal data, have incorrect personal data corrected, request the deletion of personal data, object to the processing of data, request the delivery of certain personal data in standard electronic format or their transmission to other processors. This data protection policy is not subject to a contract between the user and the data controller. It may be amended at any time by the controller: the updated version is the current one and replaces any previous version.
